Cut-and-Loop
Cut-and-Loop carpets, also known as cut-and-uncut offer the appeal of both texture and pattern. In this styling option, the carpet contains both cut pile and loop pile. These styles perform well in lived-in areas and are ideal from an aesthetic and performance standpoint.
Loop Piles
Because of the ability to offer random effects, loop styles can range from casual to ultra-elegant. In this construction the loops are not cut and the loops themselves create the surface of the carpet.
Very durable, best selection for heavy traffic areas of the home, but elegant enough to uise in a more formal setting.
